  • Growing up in Alaska meant many things, lots of snow, lots of light, and lots of things that we had to go to the lower 48 to enjoy. Any trips taken south always included shopping and one of my favorite things was the mall photobooth. Photobooths were not something we had in Alaska and it was always one of the best parts of the shopping trips. In a photobooth you can let loose, be a bit crazy, and have a great time. From the first time I set foot in a photobooth I knew that I had to have one of my own someday. The traditional photobooths are heavy and difficult to move around, so my challenge was to design something sturdy yet portable. The FlashMe booth has a heavy duty aluminum frame construction to allow for simple set up and take down at your event. The automated user touch screen allows for guest to take the photo themselves and then see it on the screen right way. Photobooths are so much fun!!!! I can’t wait to set one up for you. Squalicum High School Prom Photo Booth!

What a beautiful night on the Bellingham waterfront for the Squalicum High School Prom!  This was the first prom that the photo booth has been set up at and I can’t wait to set it up at more school dances.  All of the kids had a great time and there was never a dull moment.  This was the first time that there was a line the entire time the booth was running, and people just couldn’t seem to get enough of being in front of the camera.  Here are all of the strips that were printed on site and a link to the full gallery of images by clicking HERE or go to http://proof.medcalfphotography.net/squalicumprom   Thanks and enjoy the show!

Quality of images…and a Spring photo booth sale!

Thought that this would be a good time to discuss the quality of the images that you will get from booking the FlashMe photo booth for your event.  A high resolution professional Canon camera is used to take the photos in the photo booth (not a web camera like you will see with some other companies).  The photos are also well lit and in focus.  I encourage you if you are considering other photo booth companies to take a closer look at the images they are producing.  The images that you will receive on your disc from the FlashMe photo booth will all be of high enough resolution to print up to an 8×10 image.

Fun at the Skagit Wedding Show

After all of the crazy winter weather we had last week it was nice to get out of the house and set up the FlashMe photo booth at the Skagit Wedding Show.  I was a little worried that people wouldn’t want to venture all the way out to Eaglemont Golf Course, but they did.  It was great to get to meet a bunch of potential brides and grooms and encourage them to hop in the photo booth and have a great time.  I did run a great show special for those lucky folks who booked with me there, and I would like to offer another special this week for anyone who saw me at the show and would like to have the booth at their event.  Sign a contract before February 1st and get an extra half and hour of photo booth rental at no charge!  Call or email me today.

Skagit Wedding Show!

So, I know that we have been suffering from a bit of crazy winter weather this week.  If you are like me you have been trapped in your house and are looking for any excuse to get in the car and drive….  If you are planning a wedding, why not hop in the car on Sunday and come check out the Skagit Wedding Show being held at the Eaglemont Golf Course in Mt. Vernon.  Doors will open at 11am with a bridal fashion show starting at 3pm.  The FlashMe booth will be up and running for everyone to enjoy!  Come on by and be sure to say hello.  Have a great weekend!

Jess and Pat’s Wedding photobooth

I just cannot express how much fun it is to have a photo booth at your wedding (or any event with a bunch of people for that matter).  This may have been a small wedding, but they all made great use of the booth and the prop box!  We even noticed some of the guests enjoying the props outside of the photo booth!  Congratulations Jess and Pat, best wishes for a happy life together.  Here is a link to view all of the photos from the photo booth in full size CLICK HERE.
